The DESKO ID-1 GO is a state-of-the-art ID-1 scanner, designed for the ID-1 format commonly used for national identity cards, driver’s licenses, and credit cards. It combines a compact desktop design with lab-quality images, making it ideal for government agencies, banks, hotels, and businesses with stringent KYC requirements.
Thanks to its forensic resolution of up to 1,300 dpi, even the smallest security features can be reliably detected. The scanner captures all relevant data in a single step – from image capture and OCR (MRZ/VIZ) to barcodes, magnetic stripes, chip cards, and optional RFID/NFC.
With its triple illumination (VIS, IR, UV), the ID-1GO® takes six images under different light sources in seconds, making it even easier to detect tampering. Its compact design allows for desktop use or OEM integration in kiosks, and it can be operated in both horizontal and vertical orientations.
Automatic data reading instead of manual input reduces error rates, accelerates workflows, and increases security. The device can be optionally expanded with modules for RFID/NFC, barcode, magnetic stripe, or chip card reading, as well as UV light, to offer even greater functionality.

- Banks and insurance companies (KYC, fraud prevention)
