Entrust Sigma DS1

The Entrust Sigma DS1 is the entry-level model of the series and offers intuitive, cost-effective ID card printing. With this single-sided card printer, you can print your ID cards in both color and monochrome.

The Sigma DS1 also features a thermo-rewrite function, allowing multiple printings on rewritable cards.

The new Sigma card printer series from Entrust represents the next generation of dye sublimation printing and is specially designed for today’s cloud environments.

A special boot function protects the system from malware or viruses during startup. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) enables management of printer-specific TLS/SSL certificates and keys. Both the connection and the data transmitted between software and printer are encrypted. Customer data is encrypted and is not stored on the printer after printing.

The Sigma DS1 printer can be equipped with a WiFi module, enabling printing from Windows, iOS, and Android devices.

With the innovative, patented printhead protector function, the printhead is protected during ribbon changes or printer maintenance, thus extending its lifespan. A variable LED light ring on the housing allows you to customize the printer’s design and choose your preferred color.
