The Entrust Sigma DS1 is the entry-level model in the series and offers intuitive, inexpensive ID card printing. With the single-sided card printer, you can print your ID cards in color and monochrome.The new Sigma card printer series from Entrust represents the next generation of dye sublimation printing and was specially developed for today’s cloud environments.
A special boot function protects the system from malware or viruses when it starts up. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) enables the management of the printer’s own TLS / SSL certificates and keys. Both the connection and the data transmitted between the software and the printer are encrypted. Customer data is encrypted and is not saved on the printer after printing.
The Sigma DS1 ID card printer can be equipped with a WiFi module and enables printing via Windows, iOS and Android.
With the innovative, patented printhead protector function, it is protected when changing the ribbon or during printer maintenance, in order to extend the service life of the printhead. A variable LED light ring on the housing allows you to customize the design of the printer and choose your preferred color.
