Entrust Sigma DSE

The Entrust Sigma DSE is a minimalist entry-level card printer specifically designed for decentralized card printing in cloud environments. It’s ideal for businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, or healthcare facilities that want to produce high-quality ID cards, access cards, or credentials directly on-site.

Thanks to its modular design, the card printer can be flexibly customized to meet individual requirements – with options for single-sided or double-sided printing, lamination, encoding, and more. The modern user interface, secure cloud access, and easy setup make the Sigma DSE a future-proof card printing solution.

A special boot function protects the system from malware or viruses during startup. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) enables the management of the printer’s own TLS/SSL certificates and keys. Both the connection and the data transmitted between the software and the printer are encrypted. Customer data is encrypted and is not stored on the printer after printing.

The Sigma DSE ID card printer can be equipped with a Wi-Fi module and enables printing via Windows, iOS, and Android mobile devices.

The innovative, patented printhead protector protects the printhead during ribbon changes or printer maintenance, thus extending the lifespan of the printhead.
