HID iCLASS & Prox Chip Cards

HID iCLASS SE chip cards operate contactless via RFID at a frequency of 13.56 MHz and a memory capacity of between 256 bytes and 4 kilobytes. All iCLASS chips can be read and written. HID iCLASS chip cards are primarily used for contactless and secure access control systems. The technology includes iCLASS card readers, such as the HID Omnikey Cardman chip card reader and iCLASS chip cards. HID iCLASS 256 chip cards are user-friendly, affordable, and versatile. The iCLASS clamshell smart cards are based on the Trusted Identity Platform (TIP) and are therefore an important component. from HID Global’s next-generation access control platform. The Trusted Identity Platform enables the deployment of sophisticated applications, mobility, and security at the highest levels.

All iCLASS SE smart cards feature the contactless 13.56 MHz standard for read/write smart cards and an ABS housing for increased durability in harsh environments. Thanks to bidirectional authentication, encrypted data transmission, and a personalized 64-bit key, the chip cards actively contribute to increasing your ID security.

iCLASS chip cards are also available as Dual Interface Chip Cards with support for MIFARE chips or Proximity chips, which HID Global has made famous worldwide. The smart cards therefore represent user-friendly, affordable and reliable RFID chip cards with which you can easily improve the security of your chip application. All iCLASS chip cards support the ISO standards ISO 15693 and ISO 14443 for RFID chip cards.

Unique: The HID Prox 2 Proximity Card

The HID Prox chip card is ideal for companies and organizations that require or already have a unique security structure. Prox cards are virtually impossible to copy and are produced by HID Global specifically for the respective recipient only upon request. HID Prox II chip cards cannot be written to – only the UID can be decoded. Counterfeiting a prox card and attempts at manipulation are therefore largely impossible, as the stored information cannot be changed.
