A total of over 5 billion MIFARE Classic chip cards and over 50 million readers have been sold worldwide!
MIFARE Classic-based chip card solutions are primarily used in personal identification applications. From multifunctional employee and visitor badges (e.g., for access control, time recording, cashless payment in the cafeteria) to permanent ID cards and ticketing applications or as student IDs at universities: MIFARE Classic RFID chip cards have been proven and reliable billions of times over.
For encoding all MIFARE chips, we offer our in-house software solution YouChip Pro, which is officially certified by NXP for MIFARE encoding.
