High Security Microcontroller ICs
NXP’s SmartMX technology features a built-in memory management unit (MMU) to increase the level of security within multi-application setups. A secure cryptoprocessor provides even greater DPA resilience and covers the full range of RSA/ECC crypto algorithms up to a flexible RSA key length of 4,096 bits.
To implement applications in the areas of e-government and banking, SmartMX supports proprietary operating systems and open platform solutions such as Java and MULTOS. The contact interface complies with the international standard ISO/IEC 7816, and the contactless interface complies with the ISO/IEC 14443 standard.
In addition, MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1, and MIFARE Plus implementations enable system compatibility with the widely used MIFARE infrastructure. The CC EAL6+ certification ensures the highest possible security standard for SmartMX.
