Thermo-rewrite Plastic Cards

Thermo-rewrite cards are PVC plastic cards partially coated with an additional thermo-sensitive layer. On this layer, called the TRW stripe, plastic cards can practically be repeatedly printed in black and blue.

TRW cards are ideal for IDs where the print needs to be changed regularly. The unique thermo-rewrite technology uses a specific heat impulse to activate the thermo-sensitive layer so that the print becomes permanently visible.

To remove the print, the card printer sends a different impulse, causing the color to immediately fade, allowing the plastic card to be rewritten.
