Airberlin opts for access control and time tracking system offered by YouCard
The second biggest German airline airberlin required a card based management system of its in-house access control and time tracking at several of its European offices. Airberlin decided in favor of YouCard card systems as this vendor was able to entirely meet their requirements with its wide range of products.
Airberlin put great value upon applying a photo-personalized card system including an encrypted chip card that incorporates several different potential applications. For this purpose, YouCard provided airberlin with a card printing system comprising several HID FARGO HDP5000 card printers and the appropriate card software as well as with encoded LEGIC Advant chip cards. The premium printing system’s quality and flexibility impressed airberlin and also met their high requirements.
Airberlin is one of Europe’s leading airlines and operates an extensive network of 147 destinations across the globe. Germany’s second biggest airline carried more than 31,5 million passengers in 2013.
