Thermo-rewrite plastic cards are equipped with an additional thermo-sensitive layer. On this so called TRW-stripe, plastic cards can be imprinted in black or blue over and over again.
TRW-cards are ideal for IDs, where the printed area is changing on a regular basis. The unique thermo-rewrite-technology works with a specific heat momentum that stimulates the ribbon, so that the print seems permanently.
For the removal, the card printer sends another momentum, that erases the printed color immediately. This way, the TRW-stripe can be printed with new information again.
