Entrust Artista CR805

The Entrust Artista CR805 retransfer card printer represents the latest generation of print-on-demand solutions. It enables you to issue both physical ID cards and digital mobile flash passes, with options for either local or cloud-based deployment.

This card printer delivers very high print quality with vibrant colors. Thanks to various optional features, you can flexibly customize the Artista CR805 to meet your specific needs.

With a resolution of 600 dpi, the printer uses pigment ink to produce razor-sharp over-the-edge photo-quality prints. This makes the Artista ideal for small to medium print runs that require exceptional quality.

Enhanced security features protect both the cards and data at all times. A special boot function guards the system against malware or viruses during startup. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) manages the printer’s own TLS/SSL certificates and keys. Both the connection and data transmitted between software and printer are encrypted. Customer data is encrypted and not stored on the printer after printing.

Additional card protection can be applied via an extra retransfer film or an optional real laminator module.

A unique feature is the tactile impression module (Tactile Impression Module), which adds a distinct tactile security element to your cards. This module creates an imprint on the card that is both visible and tangible, significantly deterring tampering and counterfeiting attempts.

The Artista CR805 can be equipped with a WiFi module to enable printing from mobile devices (Windows, iOS, and Android).

Various encoders allow for the encoding of contact and contactless chip cards.
