Entrust Sigma DS2

The Entrust Sigma DS2 offers an intuitive, cost-effective ID card printing solution. With this card printer, you can print your cards in both color and monochrome. Choose between the model for single-sided (simplex) or double-sided (duplex) printing of your cards. Additionally, the Sigma DS2 is equipped with USB and Ethernet interfaces.

The Sigma DS2 features a thermo-rewrite function that allows multiple printings on rewritable cards.

The new Sigma card printer series from Entrust represents the next generation of dye sublimation printing and is specially designed for today’s cloud environments.

A special boot function protects the system from malware or viruses during startup. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) enables management of printer TLS/SSL certificates and keys. Both the connection and the data transmitted between the software and the printer are encrypted. Customer data is encrypted and not stored on the printer after printing.

The Sigma DS2 ID card printer can be equipped with a WiFi module, enabling printing from Windows, iOS, and Android devices.

With the innovative patented printhead protector feature, the printhead is protected during ribbon changes or printer maintenance, thereby extending the printhead’s lifespan. A variable LED light ring on the housing allows you to customize the printer’s design and choose your preferred color.
